Virus & Malware Removal

Removal of all viruses including trojans, spyware, adware, rootkits, potentially unwanted programs, etc. It is very common to become infected without even realizing it. Over time, small infections will add up and cause the overall performance and quickness of your system to deteriorate drastically. Viruses and spyware are hard to deal with and it is crucial to clean and secure your system before things get out of hand. We perform virus scans using several different anti-malware programs to ensure your system is clean from all known viruses.

System Tune-Up

Windows OS is generally fast, but it is poorly configured for most average users. It is setup to run software for everyone, from average to advanced users – only problem is most users will never use half the services and programs installed by default, or bundled by the manufacturer. A tune-up involves basically a lot of tweaking under the hood – disabling services, uninstalling unwanted programs, removing unwanted start-up programs, defragmenting hard drives, repairing registry errors, and finally updating software and drivers. There are more steps in between, but those are the main procedures involved that really help speed up your computer.

Networking

Setting up routers, modems, and gateways has become very intuitive over the years. User interfaces walk you through the entire setup process with very little user input with exception to setting up certain internet services that require activation codes, specific settings, and procedures. We can help you setup your internet service and other networking solutions like wireless (wi-fi) and local area network (lan). We can troubleshoot network issues with any device that is connected to the network, wired or wireless.

Software

Installing software is simple and straight-forward for the most part. Problems usually occur when versions or types are incorrect, or if there is some kind of incompatibility with the system or other software already installed. Some programs were designed for older versions of Windows OS and require compatibility modes to run correctly. We can setup any version of Windows OS that is compatible with your hardware, from Windows XP 64-bit to Windows 8.1.

Hardware

Installation of any hardware should be done with great caution. A small mistake could cost you not only the component itself, but possibly the motherboard and any other components connected to it. When installing or troubleshooting any hardware, we are sure to wear anti-static wristbands to prevent any damage from electrostatic discharge (esd). We can install new hardware, troubleshoot faulty hardware, test power components for correct voltage, and replace failing components like hard drives, fans, power supplies, optical disc drives, etc.

Remote Support

Whether your physically here or not, we can support your system and keep it up and running. Using the TeamViewer remote software, it is easier than ever to diagnose your computer over the net, all you to do is tell the technician your TeamViewer ID and password that is generated by the software after installation, then sit back and watch your computer repair itself.

Data Recovery

Depending on fault, a repair attempt is made after diagnostic to determine viability of the drive. Most of the time, once the data is readable, it is recommended to copy data and recycle the old drive. Average cost for recovery is between $200-300 and can vary based on amount of data and transfer rate (condition of drive). Diagnostic fee is taken when initiating this type of repair.

Other Services

We also offer basic soldering services from broken wires and cords to replacing motherboard components. Common soldering repairs are broken power adapter cords and laptop power jack replacements.
